Country music

It always amuses me when people claim to predict behavors or affiliations based on a person's music choice. A woman once claimed that, when buying a used car, she based her purchase on the music station - she only bought cars that had classical music programmed into their dial. In her opinion, country and rock listenners were too hard on their cars.
In addition, people assume that your musical choice is somehow affiliated with your political leanings. Country is conservative, rock is liberal, classical is for foreigners, and pop is for the youngun's. This is, frankly, bullshit. How else can you explain the Dixie Chicks or Shania Twain? For that matter how do you explain me? I listen to country, but am so liberal that if I was to swing left any further, I would be classified as a domestic terrorist. Stereotypes...
